Lakewood High School: Update
The Lakewood High School PBS team is doing a story about ESOL kids and the difficulties they face while learning English. The team wants to provide an in-depth look into the students’ lives and how the ESOL program helps them advance.
The team divided into two separate teams and went to an elementary school and a high school. Each team did video interviews of principals, general education teachers, ESOL teachers, and ESOL students. They also took video of students playing on the playground and working in class.
Next, they will make a second trip to the schools for some follow-up interviews and to get more B-roll. Some of the students have already begun to edit video and photos. They also plan to get a script to you all soon!
